Middletown Veterinary Hospital is proud to offer

a Rehabilitation Program for our community’s precious pets!

Our rehabilitation team is passionate about the work they do, and their mission is to provide our canine clients the highest level of rehabilitation care, focusing on providing them with the best quality of life possible.

Our Program offers a wide range of rehabilitative services, and each client receives a custom plan that is tailored to their specific needs.

Rehabilitative Services Include:

  • Swimming
  • Underwater Treadmill
  • Laser Therapy
  • Land Exercises/ Stretches
  • Massage

How our Rehabilitation Program works:
All clients will have a thorough initial exam with our Rehabilitation Vet. During the exam the client will be observed for gait, strength, flexibility, joint mobility, etc.

The client will be dropped off for the day for the initial exam and for the included first treatments. When the owner picks up their pet they will have a discharge exam with our Rehabilitation Vet to go over findings and a treatment plan. Treatments will then be scheduled with the Rehabilitation team.

A re-check appointment will also be scheduled after 4-8 weeks to assess the client’s progress.
