Agility is a fun sport that can help build your dogs confidence as well as work on their listening skills. You and your dog will work as a team to learn how to perform each individual piece of equipment and learn how to put them together as a course. It is a great opportunity to strengthen the bond between you and your dog.
Intro – Puppies ages 3-12 months
Beginners – Ages 6 months and up
Intermediate – Graduates from beginners
Advanced – Graduates from intermediate
Learn how to teach your dog basic commands such as sit, down, come, stay, heel, leave it. They will also learn other fun and useful commands.
Beginners – Ages 3 months and up
Advanced – Graduates of beginners obedience or dogs that already know the commands – heel, sit, down, stay, and come.
Rally consists of a numbered course of signs. Each sign has an exercise for you and your dog to perform. You and your dog will learn how to perform each sign to complete the course. To begin Rally class, a basic obedience level is required with the skills of sit, down, stay, come, and walking nicely on a leash already achieved.
About our Instructor: Kristin Wade
Kristin owns one of the top ranking Pugs in the country in: Rally Novice 2014 (2nd), Rally Advanced 2015 (2nd), and Rally Excellent 2016 (3rd). She owned her first Labrador at the age of 12 and has traveled around the U.S. and Canada for dog shows. She has competed and titled dogs in Rally, Agility, Obedience, Hunt work and Conformation and has been competing for 16-20 years, as well as teaching for 12-14 years. She is currently competing in AKC Agility, Rally, Obedience, and NADAC Agility.
